Artist Book

Misfiled is a print-based archival work that explores disorder, preservation, and the instability of memory. Structured as a fragmented guide, the book reconsiders the archive through tactile pages, shifting sections, and layered visual systems that resist fixed order.

Divided into five parts, Field Notes, Logs, Fragments, Fading Edges, and Repository, each section operates as both a record and a disruption. Pages are designed to be handled, rearranged, and reclassified, allowing the reader to actively construct and reconstruct meaning.

Rather than preserving a stable history, the work treats the archive as something in flux, shaped by erosion, omission, and chance. What is misplaced is not lost. It becomes the site where meaning begins to form.
